Overview

Xplort is a global wholesaler and distributor in the homewares sector, supplying major retail and e-commerce platforms across international markets. As their sales channels expanded, managing stock, orders, and accounting across multiple systems had become increasingly complex. They needed a centralised digital solution that could integrate their various sales channels and business systems into one seamless workflow.

We partnered with Xplort to design and develop a comprehensive warehouse and omni-channel management platform. The goal was to simplify operations, automate key processes, and provide real-time visibility across every part of the business… from order placement through to invoicing and fulfilment.

The result is a robust, scalable, and intelligent platform that streamlines how Xplort manages orders, inventory, and customer accounts, enabling them to operate efficiently across global marketplaces.

UX and platform design

The design process began with a detailed understanding of how Xplort operated across multiple sales channels and regions. Information architecture and interface design focused on creating clarity and control for internal teams.

Each element of the system was designed to make complex data simple to manage. Clear navigation, structured layouts, and intuitive dashboards helped users monitor orders, inventory, and reporting without unnecessary steps. The platform created a single, reliable environment that replaced disconnected tools and spreadsheets with one cohesive system.

Custom software development

The system was developed to serve as the central hub for all Xplort operations. A modular structure allows it to scale and adapt as the business continues to grow.

Custom APIs were built to integrate with Wayfair and Next, alongside connections to Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WordPress, and Xero. These integrations synchronise orders, inventory, and financial data automatically, reducing manual input and eliminating duplication. The platform also generates tailored invoices according to each client’s requirements, improving accuracy and saving administrative time. Every feature was designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control throughout the supply chain.

Hosting and support

The platform is hosted with Code Galaxy on a VPS to ensure security, reliability, and consistent performance. Active monitoring and maintenance support keep the system running smoothly as new integrations and features are introduced. This ongoing partnership gives Xplort the confidence to focus on growth, knowing their technology supports the demands of global distribution.
